Yes, Tel Aviv is safe. Going on a business trip you will be between hotel and office. Security in Israel is the of the highest level and thus is one of the safest places to be as far as potential terrorist attacks. Additionally the crime rate is much lower than most major cities. There is more chance of you being injured crossing the street
